Bayer is proud to present a LinkedIn Live event, hosted by its Radiology team, with a panel including patient advocates and experts on occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women globally and – according to the World Health Organization – impacts 2.3 million patients each year; early detection is crucial to improve the success of the treatment.
Join us for this event and sign up today. Our panel with cancer survivors, advocates and experts will share their perspective about:
- The role of early detection
- Risk factors for women to develop breast cancer
- Potential diagnostic options to supplement mammography in case of risk factors
- The patient perspective: hear from breast cancer survivors which impact the diagnosis had, and why education about disease as well as early detection matters
Our goal is to inspire an open dialog about the topic across women, referrers, and radiologists, and to help encourage and empower women to talk about their potential risk factors and imaging modalities available, to support them to make informed decisions together with their health care professionals.
The line-up for the event is follows.
